With the continued collection of vast amounts of data in agriculture, the need for a portable device, capable of storing all this data is necessary. Yield Link is a Patent Pending technology developed by DMZ that operates like a cloud-enabled flash drive, meaning data saved to the device can be instantly transferred to the cloud with the simple click of a button in the Yield Link Mobile/Tablet App.
Data Saved Locally
All data collected by Yield Link is stored and managed on servers located in Madison, WI. The servers are controlled and managed by DMZ and are not affiliated with large-scale cloud infrastructures from Amazon, Google, Monsanto, or the like. Having data saved locally with DMZ ensures your data is housed in a safe location and in the hands of a small business.
You Own the Data
All data saved by the Yield Link device and app is the property of the saver. DMZ is simply a data movement and data storage facilitator. Our pricing and fees are only for the device and management of the data facility. We do not analyze data or sell services for analyzing data at this point. Essentially, DMZ is a data storage and distribution facility. We take data in to be saved on servers and we can provide automated distribution of data to trusted Agronomic advisors at the farmer's request. So, if the farmer wants his Yield Maps sent to his agronomist at the coop, we can automate that process so that the farmer doesn't have to trade flash drives with the agronomist at the end of the year.
The Yield Link Product is currently priced at $1,500. With this price you get the Yield Link hardware, the mobile/tablet app used to transmit data to the Cloud, and one year of free data storage. Subsequent years will have an annual data storage fee of $200. For more information on ordering this product, please visit our ordering page.
